Trip to Finland: Many phone calls between him and that business man regarding this subject, then about month later a committee from them plus a consultant called Eng.Ibrahim zaki flew to Finland to visit mobimar factory for touristic submarine building, over there they have met Mr. Hanno canerva the owner and his partner Mr.Tapio Malmgren to discuss all the technical and financial matters. After they agreed together they have chosen one of mark three generation touristic submarines To proceed in Egypt the seventh touristic submarine in the world .the others were in Spain Korea, Japan, Hawaii, and Caribbean area.

Back to Egypt: After they came back to Egypt they started all the needed actions to finalize all licenses, official Papers and to get the approval from the concerned authorities.Time ran after that and we started to here a news that we are approaching the receiving of ourBaby.

Submarine Carrier: In an unforgettable night the news told us that the cargo carrier is passing now Suez Canal holding our baby that was approximately September 1991. Next day around 15.00pm in the touristic harbor of Hurghada we were stand on the shore looking To the sea over there while a huge cargo carrier was approaching Hurghada shore about 2 miles To the shore, then forks lift carrying our yellow submarine high and then dropped it to the water while a sailing boat moved quickly to tow it to the shore.

New Diving Place: After finalizing all needed license related to coast guard, marine authorities …ect the submarine Diving location was near Giftun Island around 1.5 hours sailing from the shore. the departure of the trip was from the touristic harbor in sakkala by boat to reach the island and trip duration was 5 hours on that time which enable us to make only 2 trips per day at 9.30 and 14.30. The advantage there was the pretty of the diving location because Giftun Island is the place For scuba diving where a lot of magnificent corals reef and many kind of fishes.

On board: The trip was amazing because of the spirit of the pilots and the crew on the boat as well. There were two finish pilot with one Egyptian got his training in Finland. Later on an English trainer came to Hurghada to train a group of Egyptian engineers to choose 4 from them to replace the Finish pilots under supervision of Cap. Mike garner who spent around 8 months and left .all the pilots from that date till now are Egyptians.

The Second Submarine joined: After one year approximately October 1992 the submarine had to move from Giftun Island to Another place for safety reasons   because tenths of boats are sailing to the island for scupa diving And snorkeling using their hooks which is danger for the submarine and the guest themselves. The submarine platform is transferred to a nearer site to the shore but not the much pretty as the previous one which cause a less guest satisfaction than before .year after year by paying a tension for environmental issues and to save the marine life and underwater world we had to Move for another place which is the current one. N.B *the second submarine joined the operation in 1996.
